Delhi: People faint due to poisonous gas spill!

New Delhi: Delhi's R K Puram has witnessed panic over the alleged toxic gas spill. According to the information received, people started having irritation and difficulty breathing and due to this people claim that dozens of people fainted. But there has been no official confirmation in this regard so far. It is yet to be ascertained whether it is a rumour or a reality.

The incident is said to have taken place around 9 pm last Wednesday. People living here say poisonous gas was released from the CRPF camp or NSG camp just next to Ekta Vihar. There was panic. After that, people started having irritation and difficulty breathing. In no time, people came out of their homes and stood on the streets and no one understood what was happening. On the other hand, Delhi Police says, "There was no fire in any gas cylinder or smoke from anywhere in Ekta Vihar area. Further necessary action is currently being taken. '

In the case, people said that several people who have been admitted to the hospital fell unconscious due to poisonous gas. On receiving information about the matter, social worker Mahipal Gautam reached where he distributed masks to the people so that people do not have difficulty breathing due to this poisonous gas. They then informed the police. Police rushed to the spot after receiving information and two fire brigade vehicles and six ambulances also reached the spot. From there, people were taken to the hospital and now everyone is in good condition. At the same time, the situation is now under control. The Central Pollution Control Board says delhi's air quality index stood at 361 last Wednesday. The day before that, it was recorded at 290.
