Bihar: Corona cases increase up to 20% in urban areas

The terror of Corona in Bihar is increasing rapidly. In the state in sixteen days, the statistics of corona infects in urban areas has increased by twenty percent. On August 10, 19 percent of corona infected patients were in urban areas of the state. Which has increased to 39 percent on 27 August.

According to the health department's official sources, on August 10, 81 percent of corona infected patients were in rural areas of the state. While in rural areas, by August 27, the number of corona infected patients has reduced and it has reduced to 61 percent. According to departmental sources, 82 thousand 741 corona patients were visited in the state till August 10. Whereas till August 27, the figures of corona patients increased to one lakh 28 thousand 850. In this way, a total of 46 thousand 109 new patients were visited in the state in sixteen days. In these, corona patients were identified in more urban areas than rural areas.

Nodal officer of Nalanda Medical College Hospital (NMCH), Dedicated Hospital for Corona, Dr. Ajay Sinha has said that in urban areas, due to neglect of use of face masks and lack of physical distance among dense population Has increased. However, he has also said that due to increase in the identification and treatment facility of corona in the state, the rate of corona has seen a decline.
