Lucknow: Man found positive even after dose of corona vaccine, second dose soon to be given

Lucknow: Covid vaccination campaign is being launched across the country. In the meantime, one person was found to be covid-19 positive even after the covid vaccine was found in the capital Lucknow of up. After 4 days, he was going to have a second dose of the vaccine, but his corona was reported to be positive earlier. The person is an employee at PGI Hospital.

At present, all the people who came in contact with the covid positive employee were tested. Other fellow employees have been isolated. It has been revealed that the staff posted in surgical gastroenterology OPD at PGI Hospital, Lucknow, was found to be covid positive on Friday. PGI's PRO Dr. Kusum said that the employee has taken a dose of the covid-19 vaccine.

The patients are getting entry without a test in COPD. The employee found covid positive was posted in OPD. He was about to take the second dose of the vaccine after 4 days, but before that he became covid positive. Dr. Kusum said that at present, precautionary contract tracing has been started. Those who came in contact with the patient were spoken to be isolate. It may be recalled that as per the government order, corona testing is not mandatory for patients coming to OPD. However, people entering the hospital premises/OPD are being requested to wear masks.
