Kolkata: PM Narendra Modi is to address an election meeting at the BNB ground in Kharagpur in West Bengal today. Prime Minister Modi's election rally is scheduled to begin at 11 am. After which Modi is going to address the rally at 3 pm at Chabua in the Dibrugarh district of Assam. According to information received, West Bengal CM and TMC President Mamata Banerjee is going to hold three rallies in East Midnapore today. Mamata will address the gathering at 12.30 pm at Khejuri, Haldia at 2 pm, and Paschura at 3.30 pm.

Rahul to release manifesto for Assam Assembly today: It is learned that former Congress President Rahul Gandhi is all about to issue the party's manifesto for Assam assembly elections in Guwahati at 4 pm today. Rahul is on a two-day visit to Assam where he is seeking votes for party candidates in upper Assam.

In Assam, the entire Congress campaign is circulating around 'Five Guarantees.' Obviously, these 'five guarantees' are going to be the most important in the party manifesto. These are the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), creation of five lakh government jobs in 5 years and 25 lakh jobs in the private sector, daily wages of tea garden employees rs. 365, free electricity up to 200 units and housewife honor honorarium pension up to Rs. 2000 for all women. According to the information received, Congress hopes that the promise of 30 lakh jobs and a housewife Samman Nidhi can prove to be a gamechanger. Congress has made it to the website for government jobs. The Congress is trying to sign the chief minister on these promises in the first cabinet when he becomes a government.
