No change in price of petrol and diesel, Know today's rate

There is no change in the prices of petrol and diesel by the government oil companies in Chennai, Mumbai, and Delhi today. The price of petrol in Kolkata has been reduced by 5 paise, while the price of diesel has been increased by 2 paise. However, on July 30, the Delhi government had cut the rate of diesel by Rs 8.36, due to which the price of diesel in Delhi was reduced to Rs 73.56 per liter in the market.

The price of petrol in Delhi today is Rs 80.43 per liter. The diesel price is Rs 73.56 per liter. According to the information received from IOCL website, the price of one-liter petrol in Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata is Rs 87.19 83.63 and Rs 82.05 per liter respectively. Talking about diesel, then the price in these metros is Rs 80.11,78.86 and Rs 77.06 respectively.

There is a change in the prices of petrol and diesel every morning at 6 am. New rates are applicable from 6 am. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, and other things to the rates of diesel and petrol, its price almost doubles. Petrol and diesel prices change every day, depending on what the prices of crude are in the international market along with the foreign exchange rates. On the basis of these standards, oil companies do the work of fixing the petrol price and diesel price daily. Dealers are people who run petrol pumps. This cost also adds to the petrol price and diesel price.
