New Delhi: The price of petrol and diesel witness fall in four metro cities in the country for the sixth successive day on Tuesday (May 14). The rate of Petrol in all the metro cities decreased by 25-26 paise per litre while diesel became cheaper by 12-13 paise. According to the report, the retail prices of petrol were slashed in New Delhi by 25 paise to Rs 71.18 a litre on Tuesday as against Rs 71.43 on Monday. Diesel in New Delhi became cheaper by 12 paise to Rs 65.86 as compared with Rs 65.98 yesterday’s price. Similarly, in Mumbai, petrol is sold at Rs 76.79 a litre, down 25 paise compared with yesterday’s price of Rs 77.04 a litre, and diesel is sold at Rs 69, down 13 paise from Rs 69.13 a litre on Monday.
