New Delhi: Rising prices of petrol and diesel have put the new public in a new hurdle since the lockdown imposed during the global pandemic coronavirus. In such a situation, petrol and diesel prices have increased once again. While the price of petrol has increased from 23 to 25 paise, the price of diesel has increased from 24 to 26 paise. After the continuous rise in the prices of petrol and diesel, its price has reached the highest level in Delhi and Mumbai. In Delhi, petrol is being sold at Rs 89.54 while in Mumbai it is being sold at Rs 96 per liter. Apart from this, the price of petrol in Kolkata, the capital of Bengal, has increased to Rs 90.78 while in Chennai, petrol is getting Rs 91.68 per liter. The price of petrol increased by Rs 0.30 to Rs 89.29 per liter in Delhi last Tuesday. The price of diesel was increased by Rs 0.35 to Rs 79.70 per liter. On the other hand, opposition parties are constantly attacking the government against the ever-increasing prices of fuel. Even though the government is citing the price of crude oil in the international market, the reality is that we are paying more than Rs 88 for a petrol price of Rs 29.34 a liter.
