Patna: The court has sentenced the convicted school principal Arvind Kumar to be hanged in the case of rape of an innocent girl in Patna, capital of Bihar. While convicted teacher Abhishek has been sentenced to life imprisonment. Arvind raped an 11-year-old innocent girl studying in school. The matter was revealed when the girl became pregnant.

This shameful case is of September 2018. When the incident of gang-rape with an 11-year-old girl studying in a school located in Phulwari Sharif area of Patna came to light. The incident was revealed at a time when the girl had a stomachache and the parents took her to the doctor. This was the case of New Central Public School where a student of the 5th class found pregnant. The girl's family had complained to the police station. According to the girl, the school's founding co-principal Arvind Kumar and teacher Abhishek Kumar raped her.

After the disclosure of the case, accused school principal Arvind Kumar and teacher Abhishek were arrested. While hearing in this case, the court found Arvind Kumar and Abhishek guilty. Now on Monday, the civil court sentenced convict Arvind to death. While the teacher Abhishek Kumar, convicted for helping in the rape, has been sentenced to life imprisonment.
