Diesel prices fall again, know today's rate

New Delhi: Diesel prices in the country have been cut for the second day in a state on Saturday. In four major metros of the country, diesel prices have been cut by 15 to 18 paise per litre today, while petrol prices have been stable for four consecutive days. The price of diesel was also cut by 17 to 20 paise per litre on Friday.

It may be noted that the demand for crude oil has not increased so far due to the coronavirus epidemic in the world. According to Indian Oil, a leading oil marketing sector company, petrol remained steady at Rs 81.06 per litre in Delhi today, while diesel prices fell 16 paise, to Rs 70.94 per litre. If it comes to Mumbai, petrol is per priced at Rs 87.74 per litre in the country's economic capital, while diesel is down by 18 paise to Rs 77.36 per litre.

Petrol was reduced by 16 paise to Rs 74.46 per litre in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. In Chennai also, petrol prices remained steady. Petrol prices in Tamil Nadu capital remained steady at Rs 84.14 per litre, while diesel prices were slashed by 15 paise to Rs 76.40 per litre.
