Earlier on Wednesday, there was no change in the prices of petrol and diesel. Today, customers will have to pay less for a liter of petrol and diesel than Thursday. In Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai, the price of one liter of petrol has decreased by 9 paise and in Chennai, one liter of petrol has become cheaper by 10 paise.

After this, petrol prices in these states have been raised to Rs 73.27, 75.90, 78.88 and 76.09 per liter respectively. On the other hand, talking about diesel, one-liter diesel has become cheaper by 8 paise in Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai and 9 paise in Mumbai, after which its price has been increased to 66.28, 68.64, 70.01 and 69.47 rupees respectively. The price of petrol and diesel changes at 6 in the morning every day.

The new rates are applicable from 6 o'clock in the morning. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles. Petrol and diesel prices change every day depending on what the crude prices are in the global market with foreign exchange rates. On the basis of these standards, oil companies do the work of fixing the price of petrol and diesel every day.
