According to a report from the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), interest money has been transferred to a total of 21.38 crore accounts (PF Account). The amount has been transferred according to 8.50 per cent interest annually. Your PF account must have received the interest amount as well. EPFO has paid 8.5 per cent interest on PF amount this time. You can check at home how much you've received in interest. This requires using a registered phone number linked with a PF account. The way to check PF balance through SMS is extremely simple. For this, you need to type EPFOHO UAN LAN in the message box from your registered phone number and send SMS to 7738299899. Your PF balance information will be available in the Inbox shortly after you send an SMS.

Here is a way to check PF Balance through the website:- For this, you need to visit the EPF Passbook website, passbook.epfindia.gov.in/MemberPassBook/Login. Then log in using UAN and Password. Now Download/2009 You will be able to check your balance by clicking on View Passbook.
