LOS ANGELES: Hollywood actor Bruce Willis is recently pictured happy and holding a puppy in the first family photos since announcing his retirement from performing earlier this year due to health concerns. According to "The Mirror," the actor, 67, could be seen "getting into the holiday spirit" with his kids in a number of pictures posted by his ex-girlfriend Demi Moore. After being identified as having the cognitive impairment aphasia, Willis' family declared in March that he would be "moving away" from his lucrative acting career. Aphasia is more prevalent in those over 65, according to the NHS (National Health Service). "The Mirror" said, the actor can be seen in the Instagram photos grinning in front of a decorated tree with his loved ones and pets while they are having dinner. "Our family unit! Getting into the spirit of the season!" Moore wrote the image's caption. Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah were his three eldest children; the couple wed in 1987 and parted amicably in 2000. It adds, Willis wed Emma Heming, an actress who was also featured in the holiday pictures, in 2009. His family announced the news of his diagnosis on social media in March and thanked followers for their "constant love, sympathy, and support" through the "very tough period." The family of Bruce shared a statement on Instagram, saying, "To Bruce's incredible supporters, we wanted to communicate that our darling Bruce has been suffering some health concerns and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is hurting his cognitive abilities."
