Bhubaneswar: Jagannath Puri's world famous Rath Yatra was with limited number of devotees during the crisis of corona epidemic. A petition has been filed again this year in the Supreme court against the Odisha government. The Odisha government has ordered a halt to Rath Yatra celebrations in temples across Odisha except Puri Jagannath Rath Yatra. The Odisha government's order was challenged in the Odisha High Court, but the high court refused to interfere. Now, through this petition in the Supreme court, an appeal has been made against the Odisha High Court order dated June 23, 2021, which refuses to interfere in the state's decision. The appeal filed through advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain said the Odisha government's order is unjust. Challenged an order issued by the office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) of the state government, stating that the Rath Yatra would be conducted as last year. The petitioners, who are devotees and Sevayats of deities in various places, have argued that the due to the corona virus in their respective places was much lower than that of Puri, so Rath Yatra should be allowed in such areas outside Puri. “Govt has taken landmark step of including retail, wholesale trade as MSME”: PM Modi MP; CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweets on International Cooperative Day Engineer husband gives his wife a very special gift, Taj Mahal also faded
