Bhopal: International Cooperative Day is observed every year on the first Saturday of July to raise awareness about UN cooperatives. International Cooperative Day is being observed on 3rd July this year in 2021. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has tweeted his greetings on this day. In a tweet, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan wrote, "Best wishes to all of you on International Cooperative Day, the State Government is committed to empowering cooperatives and bringing about a comprehensive change in the lives of the donors through it. Let us all move fast towards inclusive and holistic development by further strengthening the spirit of co-operation".

 

At the same time, he has further written: "Greetings on International Cooperative Day to all the brothers and sisters who have worked to bring about a positive change in the lives of the people through cooperation! If one and one together become eleven, it is easier to achieve goals; This is the beauty and strength of cooperation". In another tweet, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan wrote, "Cooperatives have also contributed a lot to the progress of the country and society. Cooperative societies in the state are continuously causing constructive and positive changes in the lives of the common man by doing excellent work". Apart from him, Madhya Pradesh Planetary Minister Narottam Mishra has also tweeted and wished country people a happy International Cooperative Day.

He wrote in a tweet, "The spirit of cooperativeism lies at the core of Indian philosophy. The basis of cooperatives is solidarity, mutual responsibility, justice and equality, which leads to cooperation and development of service in the society. Cooperation paves the way for development of individuals, society and nation, wishes for International Cooperative Day". Let us also tell all of you that International Cooperative Day is being observed every year on the first Saturday of July from 1923.
