Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the new 'smart' campus of Bosch India, a leading entity of technology and services, in Bangalore. Through a video message, the Prime Minister congratulated Bosch India on reaching 100 years of operation in the nation, and noted the special significance of the event falling in the 75th year of India's Independence. "100 years ago, Bosch India came to the country as a German conglomerate and now it is as much Indian as German. This is a great instance of German engineering and Indian energy," Modi said. "This campus will take the lead in creating cutting-edge goods and solutions for the rest of the globe as well as for India. The Prime Minister was cited as stating, "I implore Bosch to think of doing more in India and set targets for the next 25 years. Bosch India said, they are extending its AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) efforts in India by converting its Adugodi headquarters into Spark.NXT, a new smart campus. Bosch claimed to have spent Rs 800 crore over the previous five years building the campus, which has the capacity to house 10,000 associates. The 76-acre property is Bosch's first smart campus in India and offers a multiple smart solutions centred on sustainability, security, and user experience for employees, visitors, and facility management.
