PM Modi Extends Greetings to Nation on 75th Republic Day

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended warm greetings to the nation on the occasion of the 75th Republic Day.

"Sending my best wishes on this special day of the 75th Republic Day. Jai Hind!" PM Modi shared on X.

The Republic Day parade will kick off at 10:30 am and last for approximately 90 minutes.

The ceremony will commence with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the National War Memorial, where he will lead the nation in paying respects to the fallen heroes by laying a wreath.

President Droupadi Murmu will lead the country in the grand celebrations marking the Amrit Kaal journey that commenced after the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' celebrations, commemorating 75 years of independence.

The 90-minute parade, graced by French President Emmanuel Macron as Chief Guest, will showcase India's rich cultural diversity, 'Aatmanirbhar' military strength, and the empowering Nari Shakti. The ceremonial event will feature a splendid display of the nation's defense forces, including impressive marches, state-of-the-art equipment, and diverse cultural presentations, highlighting unity in diversity. This year's parade, themed around 'Viksit Bharat' and 'Bharat - Loktantra ki Matruka', will include around 13,000 special guests, fostering Jan Bhagidari (public participation) and inclusivity in the national festival.
