New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the monthly radio program 'Mann Ki Baat' today. PM Modi said on the 75th edition of the monthly radio program discussed many important topics of the nation. Addressing the nation he also said that the world's largest vaccination drive is underway in India. In the Mann Ki Baat it is also said that "This time last year, the question was whether there would be a vaccine for Covid-19 and by when it would be rolled out." In the January edition of the broadcast, PM Modi had appealed to write about freedom fighters and stories of their struggle to mark the country's 75th Independence Day this year. In today's episode of Mann K Baat, he said that he is very happy and glad that we have been attached to each other through this broadcast. We have spoken about all segments like education, toy-making, technology, culture, and traditions. He also marked the last year's time of March where we observed "Janata Curfew". Further, he said 'We were striving hard to get corona vaccine and today we are conducting the biggest vaccine programme in the world. I am happy to see that people are getting vaccine doses from across the country.' Also, one person from Kerala has named the drive "Vaccine Sewa." Addressing the nation PM congratulates the daughter of India Mitali Raj has inspired many women and men in the world who scored 10,000 runs in women's cricket. He also talked about 'lighthouses' saying that they are integral for promoting tourism and always attract people due to their magnificent structures. India has 71 lighthouses. Chennai's lighthouse has an elevator and the only lighthouse in the country situated within the state. PM Modi also requested farmers to adopt new alternatives along with traditional farming to boost income. He said that it will create more employment opportunities and appealed to join manufacturing bee-farming. At the end of the programme he greeted everyone on Holi, Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, Bihu, Navratri.
