PM Modi high level meeting on corona, issued guidelines

New Delhi: The second deadly wave of corona virus has wreaked havoc across the country. Meanwhile, PM Modi reviewed the current situation of corona and vaccination drive in the country at a high level meeting on Saturday. According to official sources, top officials of various ministries participated in the meeting. Modi has been holding frequent meetings and issuing necessary guidelines to control the situation in view of the increasing number of corona virus infections across the country amid the second wave of corona virus.

Earlier on Friday, PM Modi had said at an event that the corona virus epidemic is now spreading rapidly in rural areas of the country. In view of this, he had requested the people to follow rescue measures including wearing masks and following proper distance. Describing the corona epidemic as an "invisible enemy", PM Narendra Modi on Friday said the government is working hard to fight the second wave of the epidemic. He expressed confidence that the country will win this battle.

The pace of corona virus infection across the country seems to be braking. According to data released by the Union Health Ministry, 3 lakh 26 thousand 098 new corona cases have been registered in India in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of infected cases in the country has gone up to 2,43,72,907. Meanwhile, 3,890 people have lost their lives due to infection.
