PM Modi to visit Gujarat on Saturday

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach to Gujarat on Saturday to speak to leaders of various cooperative institutions about 'Sahakar Se Samriddhi.'

According to the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Modi will take tour of the newly built Matushri K.D.P. Multispeciality Hospital in Atkot, Rajkot, before speaking at a public function there. The hospital will provide high-end medical equipment and world-class healthcare facilities to the people of the region, the PMO said.

In the evening, he will speak at the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar at a seminar on 'Sahakar Se Samriddhi.'  More than 7,000 representatives from various state cooperative institutions will attend the seminar.

The PMO said, Gujarat's cooperative sector has served as a model for the entire nation. In the state, there are over 84,000 societies in the sector. These societies have approximately 231 lakh members.

In order to help farmers boost productivity and income, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Nano Urea (Liquid) Plant, which was built at IFFCO, Kalol, at a cost of around Rs 175 crore.

The ultra-modern Nano Fertilizer Plant was built with the goal of increasing crop yield through the use of Nano Urea.
