New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch India's largest drone festival, Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022, at Pragati Maidan in the national capital on Friday, May 27 at 10 a.m.

PM Modi will also address with kisan drone pilots, view open-air drone demos, and interact with entrepreneurs in the drone exhibition centre, according to the Prime Minister's Office.

The Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022 is a two-day event that will take place on the 27th and 28th of May.

"The Mahotsav will bring together about 1600 delegates, including government officials, foreign diplomats, armed forces, central armed police forces, PSUs, private firms, and drone startups, among others. At the event, over 70 exhibitors will display various use cases of drones at the exhibition, the PMO said.

A virtual award of drone pilot licences, product launches, panel discussions, flying demonstrations, and the display of a Made in India Drone Taxi prototype will all be part of the Mahotsav.
