New Delhi: To take part in the celebrations marking the UN 'Vesak Day' the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Sri Lanka next month. The celebration is going to held between May 12 to 14. In 2015 PM Modi last went to Srilanka and this will be his second visit to the country.The 'International Day of Vesak' will be hosted by the Buddhist-majority country and the commemorations in Colombo will include an International Buddhist Conference in which over 400 delegates from more than 100 countries will participate. On April 25 the Sri Lankan counterpart Ranil Wickremesinghe will be coming to India who will be on a five-day visit to the country.
