The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has been allowed by the Supreme Court o do e-auction the Taj Mansingh Hotel which is presently run by The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL).
The plea of the Tata Group's to stall the auction has been rejected by the court and it made it clear that if the group loses the e-auction, then within a period of six months, it will have to vacate the premises.
The NDMC on march 3 told the court that it wanted to auction the five-star hotel located in the heart of the national capital.
