PM Modi's Visit: CM Yogi Adityanath Inspects Ayodhya's Readiness

Ayodhya: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath undertook a visit to Ayodhya on Friday to oversee the preparations ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's scheduled visit on Saturday. The Chief Minister conducted a thorough inspection of the new airport, slated for inauguration by PM Modi, and also assessed the route designated for the Prime Minister's upcoming roadshow. Adityanath's itinerary included visits to Hanuman Garhi and the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi temple.

The visit holds significance as it precedes the consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22, during which PM Modi is expected to lead a roadshow and address a public gathering in Ayodhya. The day's events will commence with the inauguration of the 'Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhyadham.'

The new airport, constructed in the first phase at a cost of Rs 1,450 crore, boasts a terminal building covering 6,500 square meters. Engineered to accommodate 600 peak-hour passengers, the facility has an annual handling capacity of 10 lakh passengers.

In addition to the airport inauguration, the Prime Minister is set to unveil the new building of the Ayodhya railway station, which has been renamed Ayodhya Dham. The developments underscore the infrastructural advancements and heightened attention Ayodhya is witnessing in preparation for the key events, particularly the consecration ceremony at the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi temple.
