PM Modi convenes all-party meeting before budget session, government ready to talk on every issue

New Delhi: All-party meeting has been convened in the Central Auditorium of the House today (Thursday) before the budget session of Parliament. PM Narendra Modi was also present in this meeting. Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Prahlad Joshi has told that in view of the budget session, an all-party meeting has been called today under the leadership of PM Modi. 26 parties took part in this meeting and all put their points. He has told that while congratulating New Year in his statement, PM Modi said that keeping in view the global situation on economic issues, he wants a rich discussion on this issue.

The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs said that, 'Government is ready to talk on all issues. All suggestions of the opposition will be heard. 45 bills will be brought in this session. There are 7 financial bills. There are 2 ordinances. This is the business of this session. During the discussion of President Ramnath Kovind's address, you can have an opinion on all the issues. But in the first session of the budget, the President's address and budget are discussed. In a total of 39 meetings of this session, the government is ready to talk on all issues. CAA has been passed from Parliament in a very democratic way, there is no provision for taking away citizenship of anyone.

After the all-party meeting, veteran Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad said while talking to the media that, 'Session of Parliament is slowly decreasing for the last few years. Earlier there was a 3-month session, we have demanded that this session should be extended by at least 1 month. Whatever bill will come in the interest of the country, the opposition will support them in every way. Along with the enactment of new Act, we attracted the attention of the government on all the issues of the country. Government should focus on GDP, declining economy, unemployment, inflation.
