New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Thursday dedicated the Rewari-Madar section of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) to the nation. During this time, PM Modi gave the green signal to a goods train, which is 1.5 km in length and it is a provision of the double container. PM Modi said in his address here that in the last few days, many such works have been done, which are giving pace to development in modern India. PM Modi said that with the beginning of the new year, steps towards becoming a self-reliant India are growing rapidly. Today is the call of every Indian, neither we will stop nor weary. This new corridor is being seen as a game-changer for India. PM Modi said that now the speed of goods trains in the country is being increased, which was earlier 25 KMPH, now it is being transported up to 90 KMPH. PM Modi said that this corridor is not only the route for modern freight trains but also the corridor of the fast development of the country. This corridor will benefit local industries in dozens of districts of Haryana, Rajasthan. PM Modi said that today private development is being promoted in the country, in which facilities like electricity-water-internet-road-house are being provided. Simultaneously, the work of speeding up the economy is also going on, in which many works are being done to promote industries. In addition to the freight corridor in the country, economic corridors, defence corridors are also being built.
