'Identity of UP is changing..,' said PM after inaugurating Bundelkhand Expressway

Lucknow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the Bundelkhand Expressway at Katheri village under Urai tehsil of Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh. The construction of the 296 km long expressway has been completed in a record 28 months. Let us know that, on February 29, 2020, PM Modi laid the foundation stone of the Bundelkhand Expressway. After inaugurating the expressway today, PM Modi is also addressing a public meeting.  

Inaugurating the expressway, PM Modi said, "The land which produced countless knights, where patriotism flows in the blood, where the valour and hard work of the sons and daughters have always brought laurels to the country, the land of Bundelkhand is getting special pleasure in giving this gift of expressway today.'' He said that the distance from Chitrakoot to Delhi from Bundelkhand Expressway has been reduced by 3-4 hours, but the benefit is much more than that. This expressway will not only speed up vehicles here, but it will also speed up the industrial progress of the entire Bundelkhand.

PM Modi said that, in UP, where the Rae Bareli Rail Coach Factory was running the work only by colouring the coaches, now the work on infrastructure is being done so seriously, that it has outperformed even the good states. The identity of UP is now changing in the entire country. In UP, where the Saryu canal project took 40 years to complete, in UP, in which the Gorakhpur fertilizer plant was lying closed for 30 years, UP, in which the Arjun Dam project took 12 years to complete, in UP where the Amethi rifle factory was lying with just one board. In the same UP, the work of this expressway was completed in just 28 months.
