PM visits Piyush Goyal's residence on Ganesh Chaturthi, sought blessings of Bappa

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday visited Union Minister Piyush Goyal's residence on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Here he sought the blessings of Ganpati Bappa and also performed aarti. During this, PM Modi was seen in an orange kurta and white dhoti. He also carried a bright orange 'Angavastram' on his shoulders.

 

Before the aarti, PM Modi also greeted the people gathered at the house of Union Minister Piyush Goyal and they extended their best wishes. Congress leader and lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi and businessman Sunil Bharti Mittal also attended the puja there. Sharing pictures of Ganesh Puja, PM Narendra Modi wrote on social media, "On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, I attended the program organized at the residence of my colleague Piyush Goyal Ji. May the grace of Lord Ganesha always remain on us.''

Earlier in the day, PM Modi greeted the people on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and wished that the spirit of compassion and brotherhood is always maintained among the people of the country. Along with this, PM Modi shared a Sanskrit verse and wrote, "Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. May the blessings of Lord Ganesha always remain on us.''
