New Delhi: PM Modi today addressed BJP workers on the occasion of birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, a founding member of Bharatiya Jana Sangh. On the agriculture bills, PM Modi said that in the recent past, our government has taken historic decisions for the youth and farmers. PM Modi said the less the government will intervene in people's lives, the better. Many decades after independence, there were many slogans in the name of farmers, but their slogans were hollow. PM Narendra Modi said that now it is the farmer's choice to sell the produce anywhere where the farmer will get more price and sell their crops. BJP workers have to explain to the farmers in simple language. PM Modi said that those who lied to the farmers are now carrying guns on the farmer's shoulder. These people are misleading the farmers by spreading lies. PM Modi further said that some people put their own interest above the national interest. The farmers were bound to laws because of which they could not sell their crops. We have recorded an increase in MSP. So far, more than one lakh crore rupees have been given to farmers.
