PM Narendra Modi to announce the start-up policy for Madhya Pradesh on May 13

Prime Minister Narendra Modi would virtually announce Madhya Pradesh's Startup Policy and Implementation Plan 2022 On May 13 at the Brilliant Convention Center in Indore. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, will also attend the function.

The Madhya Pradesh government's Startup Policy and Implementation Plan 2022 intends to foster startups and encourage entrepreneurs in the state. The state government emphasised in an official release that this start-up policy has provisions to strengthen and bring to reality the entrepreneurial ideas of the state's young.

The government has organised a number of events across the state to raise awareness about the Startup Policy in Madhya Pradesh. The government will establish a start-up centre to assist entrepreneurs as part of the start-up policy.

P. Narhari, Secretary MSME Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, elaborated on the policy's distinctiveness, saying, "The new Startup Policy differs significantly from the previous policy. The concept of a "MP Startup Centre" is an essential addition to the MP Startup Policy 2022. Previously, the department simply implemented one policy, but this will now be done in conjunction with the MP Startup Centre. The startup centre will have its own office, as well as a head/mentor for each startup and specialists in relevant fields who will assist the startup community."

According to the government, the SPARK Sagar Smart City Incubation Centre has achieved significant progress in promoting the Madhya Pradesh Startup Policy 2022. Various educational institutions, businesses, and the startup community, notably Government ITI College and Edina Institute of Science in Sagar, have held policy awareness boot camps and workshops.

On Sunday, a live webinar featuring start-up policy experts and consultants presented the key features of the MP Startup Policy. This webinar was broadcast on all of Sagar Smart City's social media accounts.

In the Gwalior district, about 18 start-ups are now being incubated as part of the Smart City project. The government has chosen various proposals from around 50 regional start-ups for which a special workshop will be held on May 11. This would be done in order to better understand these demands and guarantee that these ideas are realised under the new start-up policy.
