New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Punjab on August 24. PM Modi will inaugurate the Tata Memorial Hospital at Mullapur in Mohali. This hospital has been built under the name of Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Discovery Center. In which cancer patients will get good treatment at a low cost. This visit of PM Modi will be very important in terms of his security. PM Modi will visit Punjab for the first time after the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab. Earlier, there was a lapse in his security in the Congress government and Charanjit Channi when he was the Chief Minister. After which PM Modi returned. He then came to Punjab to hold a public meeting during the election code of conduct. According to the managers, the hospital will be fully ready in six months and all its 300 beds will also be active for service. With this hospital, not only Punjab but also patients from Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan will get world-class treatment for cancer. The government has also come into action as soon as PM Modi comes to know about his arrival in Punjab. Just yesterday, Chief Secretary VK Janjua visited Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. Where Deputy Director Ashish Gulia said that so far 300 patients have been treated from here.
