Varanasi: PM Narendra Modi to launch and lay the foundation stone of several development projects related to agriculture, tourism and infrastructure in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh on Monday. PM Modi himself has given information about this on Twitter. He said, 'Tomorrow is going to add an important chapter in the development journey of Varanasi. In a tweet, PM Modi wrote, "Tomorrow an important chapter is going to be added in Varanasi's development journey. I will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of many projects through video conferencing at 10.30 am. These include agriculture and tourism as well as other infrastructure-related projects." The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has issued a statement in this regard stating that the total estimated cost of these projects is Rs 614 crore. The PMO said that the Prime Minister will hold talks with the beneficiaries of these projects during the event. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath will also be present on this occasion. Projects to be inaugurated during this period include Sarnath Light and Sound Show, Upgradation of Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital Ramnagar, Sewerage related works, Protection of basic facilities and Protection of Cows, Multipurpose Seed Store etc. PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of many projects during the program.
