PM to visit Himachal Pradesh on Dussehra, to give crores of gifts

Shimla: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Kullu on Wednesday (October 5), which will be a historic moment for Himachal Pradesh. For the first time in the history of Himachal, a PM is going to witness the historic Rath Yatra of the international Kullu Dussehra festival. It shows PM Modi's affection for Himachal. These things have been said by CM Jai Ram Thakur. CM Ram Thakur reached Dhalpur ground in Kullu to review the preparations for the  PM's visit.

During this, CM Thakur said that before coming to Kullu, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of four big projects worth billions of rupees including AIIMS in Bilaspur. Will address a public meeting at Luhnu Maidan. Jai Ram Thakur said that after this, PM Modi will participate in the historic Rath Yatra of International Kullu Dussehra. Thanking PM Modi for giving consent to participate in the Rath Yatra, CM Thakur said that the PM respects the culture of Himachal, and has a special attachment towards the state.

Speaking to the media, CM Thakur said that PM Modi will inaugurate AIIMS worth about Rs 1,471 crore and the second hydro engineering college of the country costing about Rs 140 crore in Bilaspur. Modi will also lay the foundation stone of the Medical Device Park at a cost of about Rs 350 crore and the Pinjore-Nalagarh four-lane national highway to be constructed at a cost of Rs 1,692 crore.
