PM Modi holds meeting over coronavirus' present situation

New Delhi: PM Modi today reviewed the current situation in the country regarding the global epidemic coronavirus. PM Modi appreciated the tireless efforts being made by the Center, State, and local authorities in dealing with the Corona crisis in the capital. He said that other states should also take strong measures against the epidemic on the lines of Delhi-NCR.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, NITI Aayog member, Cabinet Secretary and other senior officials of the Government of India attended this review meeting. PM Modi learned about the situation in various states of the country about the corona and the preparations of various states to deal with this deadly virus. PM Modi directed in the meeting that we need to follow personal hygiene and social distancing in public places.

PM Modi has issued a statement saying that awareness about corona needs to be created and constant emphasis should be given to prevent the spread of its infection. He said that there is no place for any kind of negligence in this regard. PM Modi praised the tireless efforts of the Central, State, and local authorities in dealing with the Corona epidemic in Delhi. He directed that other states should also take measures to curb the coronavirus infection like Delhi-NCR.
