New Delhi: The corona menace in the country is beginning to subside but the threat of a third wave continues. Amidst all this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has convened an important meeting today. The special meeting is said to be held at 3.30 pm today. In fact, the present situation in corona will be discussed during this meeting. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also take stock of the steps taken to deal with it. Apart from the Health Ministry, the cabinet secretary and NITI Aayog are also scheduled to attend the meeting. On the other hand, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has informed last Monday that more than 57.05 crore doses of the corona vaccine have been given to states and Union Territories so far. Let us also inform you that the universalization phase of corona vaccination started on 21st June 2021. In fact, as part of the vaccination campaign, the Government of India is cooperating with the States and Union Territories by providing them free vaccines. Similarly, the Central Government is making various efforts to speed up the Corona Vaccination Drive and expand its scope across the country. Let us also tell you that 25,072 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 389 patients died during this period. At present, the number of infected persons in the country has increased to 3,24,49,306 and active patients have come down to 3,33,924, which is 1.03% of the total cases.
