Foundation Day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram today, PM Modi congratulates people

New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Saturday greeted the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on State Foundation Day and praised their culture and traditions. These two states were established on this day in the year 1987. PM Modi tweeted from his official Twitter handle and wished for the progress of both the states.

Greeting Mizoram, PM Modi wrote in his tweet that, ''Wish my sisters and brothers of Mizoram their State Foundation Day. The entire country is proud of the great Mizo culture. The people of Mizoram are known for their kindness and commitment, living in harmony with nature. I pray for the continued growth of the state.''

At the same time, while wishing the people of Arunachal Pradesh, PM Modi said, 'Wishing the wonderful people of Arunachal Pradesh a special occasion on their State Foundation Day. The people of this state are known for their culture, courage and strong commitment in the development of India. Hope that Arunachal Pradesh continues to touch new heights of progress.''
