New Delhi: India Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually address the post-budget webinar on infrastructure and investment on Saturday, March 4. The government is holding a series of 12 webinars titled "Infrastructure and Investment - Enhancing Logistics Efficiency with PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan" to seek ideas and suggestions for the successful implementation of the initiatives outlined during the Union Budget 2023–24. "The Central government is expanding its budgetary allotment for the creation of top-notch infrastructure. This objective is reflected in the budget for this year. Infrastructure development has been allocated a sizeable amount of money for capital expenses, "based on a declaration from the government. Seven priorities were set up for the Union Budget, and these priorities work as the "Saptarishi" to lead the nation through the AmritKaal and complement one another. They include financial sector, infrastructure, investment, unleashing potential, green growth, youth power, and inclusive development. The Directorate for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade is assisting the Ministry of Roads, Transport, and Highways in leading the webinar on "Infrastructure and Investments" (DPIIT). Also, three sub-themes viz. " Improving logistics efficiency", Planning on Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti National Master Plan" and "Infrastructure development and investment opportunities.will be covered on the webinar. Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Roads, Transport, and Highways, and Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Trade and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, and Textiles, will both speak during the webinar. A large number of stakeholders from states, business, and investment groups, as well as ministers and secretaries of the relevant Central Government Ministries, would also partake in the webinar. "During the last few minutes of the Webinar, the ideas from these breakout sessions would be presented in the plenary. Concerned ministries will create a time-bound action plan for implementing budget announcements based on the inputs received"The government said.
