Mumbai: The PMLA court has put off making a decision on Eknath Khadse's son-in-bail law's application until February 9th. Girish Chaudhri, the son-in-law of NCP leader Eknath Khadse, has had his bail application heard by a special PMLA court in Mumbai. On this case, the court has deferred its decision until February 9th. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Girish Chaudhary in July 2021 in connection with the Bhosari land fraud in Pune. In 2017, Pune-based activist Hemant Gavande filed a complaint alleging that Khadse had abused his position as Revenue Minister by purchasing a three-acre plot in the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) at Bhosari near Pune in the name of a relative for Rs 3.75 crore against a market price of Rs 40 crore. In a case of criminal misconduct by a public official, the ED had attached assets worth Rs 5.73 crore belonging to Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) politician Eknath Khadse, his wife Mandakini Khadse, his son-in-law Girish Chaudhari, and others on August 27. Immovable properties in the shape of one bungalow, three residential apartments, seven land parcels worth Rs 4.86 crore, and a bank balance of Rs 86.28 lakh were among the attached assets.
