New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi is meeting on the immunization situation and corona situation in the country. It will also review the vaccination drive. The meeting was attended by PMO officers, Health Secretary and NITI Aayog member Dr VK Paul. So far 31.48 crore doses of corona vaccine have been administered in the country. Out of these, 26.02 crore have received both the first doses and 5.45 crore have been administered. Since 21st June, more than 50 lakh doses have been administered continuously since the introduction of vaccination drive as per the new guidelines across the country. According to the Covin app, 56.31 lakh doses have been administered till 5.30 pm on Saturday itself. In the same country, 48,618 new corona infected people have been identified on Friday. As a result, 64,524 people defeated Corona, but 1182 died. On the other hand, the figure of active cases means infected people undergoing treatment has recorded a decline of 17,101. At the same time, the concern amidst the controlling corona situation in the country is that the transition rate in 10 states still remains above 5%. This means that more than 5 patients are still available every 100 tests in these states. These include Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Kerala, Nagaland, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Arunachal Pradesh.
