Hyderabad: A 24-year-old youth got an alternate bike from the Tolichowki traffic police station for his recently stolen bike. According to B Vishnu Goud, a resident of Bansilalpet in Secunderabad, on February 28, he along with his friend Bala Narasimha (17) was traveling from Chilkur to Secunderabad on his Pulsar bike. At 10:30 pm, when they reached Langer Houz petrol bunk area, Tolichowki traffic police stopped them and subjected them to undergo blood alcohol test in which the biker found drunken and police seized his their color bike (TS 10 EF 6828). also read: Unknown miscreants vandalized the statue of Periyar in Pudukkottai Afterward, they went to court and paid the fine. On March 27, they returned to the spot at Bapu Ghat Ramalayam Temple Ground where Vishnu Goud's seized vehicle was kept under police surveillance. When he along with the police could not find the vehicle, the traffic police filed a complaint with the Langer Houz police and after lodging a case they searched for the bike but in vain. On April 5, Tolichowki traffic police called the victim to Ramkote, where second sales bikes were available in large number and purchased a blue color Pulsar bike (TS 13 EE 0038) of the same model of 11/ 2015 manufacture for Rs 45,000 and handed over to him at 6:30 pm on April 5.
