Mumbai: The policemen who captured Pakistani terrorist Mohammad Ajmal Kasab alive are going to get a promotion after 14 years. He received a medal and other honours as a reward in the year 2008 itself but was not promoted then. Now, after so many years, the Government has also filled that shortfall. It has been said that on March 22, these police officers have been given a 'one-step' promotion. In such a situation, these policemen can get a monetary benefit of between 2 to 8 lakh. The great thing is that this promotion will be effective from 2008. Here, one step promotion means that those officers will be paid the same salary as those officers who are one post above their post. For your information, let us know that after the 26/11 terror attack, the police managed to catch Ajmal Kasab alive.
