According to official sources on Wednesday, May 29m JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna, who is under suspension due to allegations of sexual abuse, has booked a return ticket from Munich to Bengaluru on May 30.

The 33-year-old grandson of JDS supremo H D Deve Gowda is anticipated to arrive in Bengaluru during the early hours of May 31, according to sources in the Special Investigation Team. The SIT is keeping watch at the Kempegowda International Airport in order to apprehend him as soon as he touches down.

As soon as it became known that the Karnataka State Commission for Women had asked Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to order an investigation into the vast cache of explicit videos purporting to show multiple women being sexually assaulted by him, the MP—who is running for re-election as the NDA candidate from the Hassan Lok Sabha segment—flew abroad.

Two reports of sexual assault against Prajwal have been made thus far. The Hassan MP pledged in a video message published two days earlier to appear before the SIT on May 31 and assist with the investigation. The sources also stated that the MP had already canceled a flight ticket from Germany twice.

Prajwal's home in the district headquarters was searched by the SIT in the interim.
