Prajwal Devaraj pens emotional post in memory of late producer Ramu

Actor Prajwal Devaraj has penned an emotional post on the birthday of late producer Ramu who passed away on April 26 due to COVID-19 complications. The actor’s post on Instagram reads, “Still can’t believe you’re gone! You have left your mark in the industry that will be remembered forever. You have been a part of our family and will always remain in our hearts. It’s sad that your last had to be my film. Arjun Gowda will continue your legacy as one of the most passionate producers the industry has seen. ???? we miss you.”

Prajwal's family shared a special bond with the late filmmaker, as most of the superhit films that Ramu produced had Devaraj in the lead. Incidentally, Ramu's last film, Arjun Gowda, has Prajwal in the lead role. Ramu, who was popularly known as Koti Ramu, had made as many as 30 films. He made his debut with the action film Golibar in 1993, which got tremendous response at the box office. He has also produced films AK 47, Chamundi, Kiccha, Kalasipalya and Gulama. His last release in Kannada was the Ganesh and Bhavana starrer 99, which was the remake of the hit Tamil film 96.
