BHOPAL: President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to make a visit to the majestic Scindia Palace in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. This visit, set for Thursday, will involve a series of engaging programs and events. An integral part of her itinerary includes addressing a gathering of students at the Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (IIITM) during the inauguration ceremony. The President will be warmly welcomed at Gwalior airport by Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who will graciously accompany her on the journey to Jai Vilas Palace, the renowned Scindia Palace in Gwalior. This iconic palace also houses a museum gallery that the President will have the opportunity to explore. Subsequently, President Murmu will join the Scindia family for a delightful lunch at Jai Vilas Palace. The honorable presence of Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will further enhance this auspicious occasion. Additionally, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and several other esteemed BJP leaders have been included in the distinguished guest list. It is noteworthy that Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has been actively visiting Gwalior and participating in public programs over the past few months. According to a statement issued by Scindia's media cell, President Droupadi Murmu will arrive at Gwalior Airport and be cordially received at Jai Vilas Palace, where a grand lunch with the Scindia family is scheduled for 1 pm. In order to ensure the utmost security for the President, a meeting was held on Tuesday, attended by high-ranking police officers including Inspector Generals and Deputy Inspector Generals from the Gwalior and Chambal regions. Superintendent of Police Rajesh Singh Chandel stated that more than 150 officers and over 2,000 personnel will be deployed at various locations to safeguard the President during her visit.
