NEW DELHI: President Ram Nath Kovind is set to visit three states viz. Kerala, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh, beginning from May 25 and ending on May 29. According to official information, the President will open the two-day National Women Legislators' Conference in the Kerala Legislative Assembly complex in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday morning. Women lawmakers from the Parliament and state legislatures are taking part in the meet. The event is part of the Azad Ka Amrit Mahotsav, which commemorates India's 75th anniversary of independence. Officials claimed that everything is in place for the President convoy’s smooth passage from the airport to the official bungalow of Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, where Kovind would stay. The President will attend the 125th anniversary celebrations of the Laxmibai Dagadusheth Halwai Datta Mandir Trust in Pune on Friday, May 27. He will talk in Bhopal on May 28 at the Arogya Bharati's 'One-Nation - One Health System is the Need of the Hour' event. On the same day, the President will lay the foundation stone for and start different state government health infrastructure projects. Kovind would launch the 59th Mahaadhiveshan of Akhil Bhartiya Ayurved Mahasammelan in Ujjain before returning to the national capital on May 29. The President will also lay the foundation stone/launch various state government health infrastructure projects on the same day.
