New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. He will reportedly be on a visit to Ladakh between July 25 and 28. As a result, he will pay homage at the Kargil War Memorial on the 22nd anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26. He will attend the 19th Annual Convocation of Kashmir University on July 27. Special security arrangements are being made in view of the same President's visit. According to sources, checking has been intensified on all the main noses. In addition, traffic will also be restricted at some places. Earlier, as part of the 'Kargil Vijay Diwas 2021' programme, a massive event was organized at Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate 22 years of kargil war victory. Lt Gen YK Joshi, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, Army Veterans, other senior officers and families of HQ Northern Command attended the concert. Speaking on the other hand, the Army said that the 'Shaurya Band' of Jammu and Kashmir joined the Northern Command in Udhampur and presented a musical evening full of patriotic and nationalism to honour the heroes of the Kargil War.
