The price of petrol yesterday is Rs 82.59 per litre and diesel is priced at Rs 73.99 per litre. Similarly, in Chennai, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel. Petrol costs Rs 84.14 per litre and diesel costs Rs 75.95 per litre. There is a change in the prices of petrol and diesel every day at six in the morning. The new rates are applicable from six o'clock in the morning. After adding excise duty, dealer commission and other things to the prices of petrol and diesel, its price almost doubles.
