PKL 2019: Bengal and Gujarat play out tight draw

Kolkata: In the seventh season of the Pro Kabaddi League, there was a draw played between Gujarat Fortunezants and Bengal Warriors. The contest between Gujarat and Bengal ended at 25-25. The Bengal team was ahead 15–13 by midway but Gujarat took a 25–23 lead in the 39th minute of the match. When the match was seen coming out of the hands of Bengal, Maninder equalized the score by scoring two points on the Red. He scored the most nine points in the match. Sachin and Sonu scored six each from Gujarat Fortunezants.

After this win, the Bengal team is ranked fourth in the points table. He has played 6 wins, 4 defeats and 3 draws in 13 matches. Gujarat's team is at number eight. He has lost 7 out of 13 matches. He also has 5 wins and a draw in his account. In the second match of the day, Haryana Steelers defeated Dabang Delhi by a big margin of 47-25 on the basis of 10-10 points by Vikas Khandola and Prashant Kumar Rai.

A brilliant in-form Naveen Kumar scored 11 points for Delhi but did not get the support of the other players. This is Delhi's second defeat of this season. He is at the top of the points table. Delhi has played 13 matches and played 10 wins and one draw. On the other hand, Haryana Steelers teams are also galloping on the way to victory after the initial defeat. He has won 9 out of 13 matches and is third in the table. He has also suffered 4 defeats.
