Puducherry: Puducherry Assembly Speaker ER Selvam has been hospitalized on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack. Sources in the assembly said that Selvam has been admitted to Indira Gandhi Government Hospital. Deputy Speaker P Rajavelu is handling the proceedings of the budget session in the assembly on Selvam being admitted to the hospital. Selvam suffered chest pain before coming to the assembly after which he was admitted to the hospital.
