Punjab: 28 people detained in raid at spa centre in Amritsar

Amritsar: Police of the Civil Line Police Station in Amritsar city of Punjab have arrested 28 people dying of raid. This action has been taken at the spa centres. Those caught include more than 12 foreign girls. At present, the police is checking the documents of all the people. ACP Parvinder Kaur has said that the matter is being investigated.

He said that the owners of the spa centres have been asked to bring passports and other documents of foreign girls. It is learned that the owners of the spa centers have escaped as soon as the action is reported.  Inspector Shiv Darshan, in-charge of Civil Line Police Station, informing about the case, has said that all the accused who had done the roundup have been kept in the civil line.

In fact, the police had received secret information that some spa centers and massage parlors are carrying out business from Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal, Bhutan and girls from Arunachal Pradesh, India. Not only this, the accused are staging a protest under the guise of spa centres. Girls invited from abroad are brought here on a tourist visa and wrongdoing is done in spa centres. Taking action on this basis, the police raided two massage centres near Crystal Chowk and Spa centre near Company Bagh and arrested 28 people.
