Punjab: Congress protest outside CM's house, Mann said - bribery is in his blood

Amritsar: Congress leaders who had gathered to protest outside the residence of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann have been taken into custody by the Chandigarh Police. He was taken to the Sector 3 police station. After being taken into custody, Congress workers also raised slogans outside the police station. On this protest, Bhagwant Mann said that, I am sad that Congress leaders are protesting outside my house in support of those who are accused of taking bribe. These people are supporting the robbers which is proof that bribery is in their blood.

At the same time, Punjab Congress leaders allege that even after making the promise, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann did not meet them on Thursday. He wanted to talk to CM Mann about the arrested former minister Sadhu Singh. Sadhu Singh was arrested by the Vigilance Bureau on charges of corruption. In the government of Captain Amarinder Singh, he used to handle the Forest and Social Welfare Ministry of Panjba. He is accused of giving permission to cut green trees by taking bribe.

He is also accused of taking bribe regarding the Dalit Scholarship Scheme. Congress says that their leaders had gathered outside the residence of Bhagwant Mann to demand justice for Sidhu Musewala. Congress said that, 'Congress leaders protest outside the CM residence demanding to arrest the killers of late Congress leader and famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala. Punjab CM has insulted Punjab by refusing to meet him by giving time.'
